On February 20, 2025, Eyefinity EHR® and Eyefinity® Practice Management became Eyefinity EncompassTM. Current Eyefinity Practice Management and Eyefinity EHR customers won’t need to do a thing in response to this name and logo update.   • For Legacy Eyefinity Practice Management and Eyefinity EHR Customers

    What are the defining features of Eyefinity Encompass?

    • Unified Login: You’ll no longer need to remember different usernames and passwords to access the EHR and practice management features in the platform.

    • New Pricing Screens: You'll be able to edit material orders, line item by line item, without having to cancel and re-enter the entire order.

    • New Analytics & Insights Tool: You'll be able to easily explore the underlying data with intuitive drill-down filters and aggregations. Plus, you'll be able to download the full data set in CSV format.

    • Online Forms Integration: New online patient forms automatically sync the demographic, insurance, and medical information submitted online into the platform.

    • Guided Shopping: You'll be able to easily calculate costs for comparable eyeglass bundles—with or without VSP insurance coverage—to provide patients a side-by-side price comparison of recommended options.

    Will I have to set up a new account to use Encompass? 
    • No. Eyefinity Practice Management and Eyefinity EHR will become Eyefinity Encompass—and you won’t need to do a thing.  
    What changes will I experience? 
    • Current Eyefinity Practice Management and Eyefinity EHR users will notice the logo within your software change to Eyefinity Encompass in February 2025. 

    • Over time, you'll see incremental updates that strengthen the connection between clinical and dispensary functions, enhancing overall practice efficiency. While the immediate changes will be subtle, they lay the foundation for what’s ahead. 

    • When we introduce new major features, we’ll roll them out to early adopters first, incorporating real-world feedback before releasing updates to wider audiences. This ensures that when new features reach you, they're already optimized for clinical use.

    Will I need to go through data migration or additional training? 
    • No. Current Eyefinity Practice Management and Eyefinity EHR users will be migrated automatically without the need for additional training, and the user experience you're accustomed to will remain largely unchanged. 
    Why are we creating a new platform?  
    • Consolidating our efforts to a single platform frees us up to pursue rapid developments and move our attention from our various legacy solutions into creating a single, exceptional platform.  

    • Over time, our product portfolio will converge and Eyefinity Encompass will become the sole practice management and EHR platform offered by Eyefinity. 

    Who is Eyefinity Encompass designed for?  
    • Eyefinity Encompass is designed to fit the unique needs of private practices, regional chains, and national retail chains. 
    How much will Encompass cost? 
    • Current Eyefinity Practice Management and Eyefinity EHR users will experience no change in pricing when their software becomes Eyefinity Encompass in early 2025. 

     

  • For Legacy OfficeMate/ExamWRITER and AcuityLogic Customers

    Can I continue to use OfficeMate/ExamWRITER and AcuityLogic? 
    • Yes 

    • There will be no sudden decommissioning of OfficeMate/ExamWRITER or AcuityLogic. 

    • Providers will have at least two years to plan and research their options.  

    Will I experience any changes if I’m already using Encompass or OTX? 
    • On February 20, 2025, current customers will see the updated Encompass logo and user experience throughout the platform. 
    How will existing AcuityLogic clients migrate to Encompass? 
    • Existing AcuityLogic clients must go through a data conversion process to move their self-hosted data to the cloud.  

    • You will work closely with the Eyefinity Implementation team to create a custom training and onboarding plan for your organization.   

    • You may also need to re-evaluate your operations to take full advantage of the new platform’s capabilities.
